Amanda informed me last night that Emma had a rash. I suggested a cool bath and some Tylenol. This morning she called very early and said that it was worse. She had already made a doctor appointment but Emma was pretty cranky. I told her to do the same thing as last night and call me after her appointment.
Well, the verdict is - She's joining Grandma's club for those allergic to Penicillin.
Emma has been on Amoxicillin for a week and a half for an ear infection and for some reason she is now allergic to the medicine.
Poor baby just started feeling good again and now this.
Hopefully, the Benadryl will kick in quick and she'll be back to her cheerful self soon.
